Name: White Desert 1Night
Camping & Valley of the Whales 01 Day
Day 1
- Start in Cairo not later than 8am
- Transfer by our private minibus/public bus until Bahariya Oasis 350km.
- Lunch at Hot Spring Hotel included
- Departure by FWD to White Desert 150km
- Go around White Desert by off-road until sunset
- Camping at White Desert
- Equipment provided: Tent, sleeping bag, mattresses and camel blanket
- Dinner Chicken BBQ
Day 2
- Breakfast picnic at the desert
- Return back to Bahariya Oasis around noon
- On the way back visit Crystal Mountain and the Black Desert off-road
- Optional: Lunch at Hot Spring Hotel
- Afternoon: free for relaxing & walking
- Overnight: Hot Spring Hotel
Day 3
- After breakfast start by FWD
- On asphalt road towards Cairo until 200km
- Then turn off-road to climb down Qattrani Plateau
- Direction Gabel Gohanam (Mt. of Hell) cross the Wadi Hitan ( Valley of
Whales) on marked tracks only, as this Protected Area is also World Heritage
Site !
- Visit the fossil bones of the whales on foot
- Return back through Wadi Raiyan and around Qaroun Lake
- Until the Pyramids circuit. End of service

Note: Pls. take a taxi to your hotel, recommend to book a Hotel in Giza
Remark: I recommend to spend 01 Night at Hot Spring Hotel, but it is of
course possible to book this program as safari only. In this case the hotel
will be stop over only and you continue directly to Wadi Hitan. Also you may
consider to do another night of camping there instead of going back to Cairo on
the same day ? |
